With the home opener getting closer, Latsch is crossing paths with an old friend. She explains, “ I am a little nervous about this upcoming game due to the fact that there is a childhood friend of one playing on the opposing team, and we have our friendly competitiveness as to who will emerge victorious in this game… I look forward to seeing how it goes.”

After playing their first non-league game, she explains, “I feel like it was a very good display of our sportsmanship and how close we have gotten already from our practices. Brinkle felt the confidence from her team and herself for this game. She explains, “I felt good about our luck and confident that we could carry on our win streak.” Brinkle was faced with a tough Umpire but after continuing the win-streak, her and the team couldn’t be any more proud. Brinkle reflects, “I was so happy that my team was able to continue our win streak, have fun, as well as learn and fix whatever mistakes might have been made. I was so proud that we proved our capabilities and skills. “
